Target Sports
CSP offer a range of target sports to suit people of all ages and ability. Our passion is target-rifles, but we are also able to instruct and guide on a wide range of other target sports such as shotgun, archery, knife-throwing, air-pistol and catapults.
We do not do paint-ball.
Target Rifle
CSP offer a wide range of service to small-bore and air-rifle target shooters.
We provide a number of services based around target shooting:
- Supplying firearms - both small-bore and air.
- Batch-testing and supply of ammunition. We can arrange to collect
your barrels and batch test them at major suppliers such as Eley,
Lapua or RWS.
For "emergency" testing we can utilise our tube 50m range to allow ammunition comparison/selection from our stock ammunition.
- We also provide a wide range of training in target shooting.
We cover all major disciplines - prone, kneeling, standing, bench (iron and
scoped), air-rifle, air-pistol.
Starting from basic instruction in safety and position builds we can progress via club coaching to county coach level. All of our coaches are well experiences and have shot for Scotland. At least one of our coaches works with the Scottish Small Bore Squad at development level.

Shotgun
We run a number of top-of-the-range beomat sporting traps and can offer a range of clay targetry.
Archery
We are a "compound bow" house. Compound bows have "the wee wheels", we find new archers get more fun more quickly with this style of bow. We have a range of left and right-handed bows and have both light and heavy draw-weights.
Our archery range allows GNAS distances up to 90m. Clout is also taught. We can do distance shooting - up to 1.5Km - if booked in advance with enough notice.
Knife and axe throwing
We teach both knife and axe throwing. Hibben cutlery is our preference. All official competition throwing distances are supported and our "range" is safe for throwing from any distance.
